Remove auto startup programs in Windows

Every Windows after several months or year in good case will start to slow down the booting process, to begin occupation of more memory after startup and usually entire work on this computer are very slugged. In most cases this happens when many programs ( also unneeded ) are installed and they set to auto run when Windows boot up. This resident programs take many of available RAM memory and Windows are pushed to "tight corner". In this computers, Windows systray look like this displayed below.

In this Tutorial I will show you how you can remove auto startup programs in Windows when boot up. This you can make even with available in your Windows program, called msconfig.exe. Lets start the program. To do this go to Start -> Run -> msconfig -> hit Enter.

When program starts, go to [Startup] tab. Here are listed all programs which starts with Windows at boot up. In first column is displayed exact file name which is started. The Second columns shows the exact command with which file is started. And the last column shows from where this program is started. In the last column you can see that the program is started from Windows Registry, from Startup program group or from sysytem.ini configuration file.

Now click on each unwanted program to uncheck the checkbox in front of Startup Item. Please note that this programs will be no removed or uninstalled. They will just prevented from auto start when Windows boot. Be careful with stoping programs because some program may be critical for correct work of your Windows.
