Create Starwars like Titles with Windows Movie Maker

Windows Movie Maker is very easy to use and helpful application which is integrated with your Windows. With Windows Movie Maker you can create visual effects and layout of you home videos using predefined transitions and effects for clips and text title. Next you can export final movie in raw uncompressed AVI format for later edit or just for making final video on DVD for home cinemas.

With this tutorial I will show you how to add well known Starwars like title in the beginning of your movie, where you can explain next scene, or short brief of the movie.

First let import the video into Collections, and next lets place the video into timeline like shown on the picture below:

Next go to Tools / Titles and Credits menu. From the next window select an option from the available and enter the text which you want to be displayed in Starwars like style. When ready click Change the title animation. From the list with animation types select Scroll, Perspective from Titles, One Line list. Now lick Done.

Note; If you want to select different colors for the text and the background, other font and size click on Change the text font and color.

Now lets see the ready title movie made by Windows Movie Maker with sample text from the exactly Starwars opening titles:

Please note, that if the text in the title is too long, title clip need more space in timeline, to be sure that the title clip playing time will be enough long to be played with normal speed and to be comfort for reading from spectators.
