Looks like today is my Windows day. I will present you yet another simple configuration option for Windows 2003. I have to say that this tutorial also has been tested on Windows XP and applies for it as well. Though it one IP is absolutely enough for the common Windows user sometimes we need to have more than one IP on one Network Interface Card (NIC). One common example is that you need separate / different IP addresses for security enabled websites. I will not go into details explaining why you may need more than one IP as if you are reading it you probably know your reasons better than me.
So first we need to go to Local Area Connection properties. There are many ways to reach these setting so I assume you know at least one way to do that. if you do not know hot to get there check the first two paragraphs in this tutorial
