Skype is software application that give to users ability to make telephone calls over the Internet. Users can make free calls to other Skype users or call on average rate to fixed or mobile phones. More features like instant messaging, file transfer and video conferencing are available.

To use Skype your computer have to be equipped with:

- Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista
- CPU 400Mhz
- RAM: 128MB
- microphone
- headphones / speakers

To install Skype first start setup file which you can download from Skype Web Site. Next you have to agree terms and services and click on Next to continue. When installation finish, start Skype.

Next, when Skype is started for the first time, the program will ask you to register a Skype name. Now you have to fill four fileds to do this. Fields marked with * are required. When you fill this fields hit Next. When you create Skype name you can use it anywhere on other computers.
Let's Talk About Skype
Now you have Skype Name. To use Skype with other people you have to add this people in your Skype list. To do this click on Add a Contact like shown on the picture below. You can search for other people by entering his Skype name on e-mail address. Now click on Find.

When you find the people which you searching for, right click on his name and select "Add to Contacts". Now you can call to this user by pressing green button for dial. To end the call press red button and line will be dropped.
Let's Talk About Skype
If you have installed webcam on your computer you can make Skype video calls. When you already in call new option will be available for you - "Start My Video". To stop video broadcasting click on "Stop My Video".

Also you can send/receive text messages in Skype. Right-click desired user and select "Start Chat...". At new window type your text and hit Enter like shown on the picture below.

To send a file to another Skype user select the file in Windows Explorer, right click, and select Send/Skype. Now select the user wich you want to receive this file.
If someone in your Skype list sending file to you click on "Save As..." button in appeared window for notification. Next choose where you want to save this file.

Now you can feel free to use main Skype features.
