In next tutorial I will show you all of the
tools for painting and selecting in
Photoshop and i will explain what they are used for.
After starting
Photoshop you see the
tools window on the left side:
In this window you see the
tools and the settings for them are in the menu above:
It changes in dependence of the choosen
tool.
Means to Learn
1.Brush tool in Photoshop menu
This tool is used like a ordinary paint brush.
To work with it you have to:
-choose the tool Brush from the tools window
-choose the type of the brush from the menu with oprions above
-choose a color in the palette
After that u click somewhere on the workspace and move the mouse around...
2.
Pencil tool in Photoshop menu
This
tool looks like an ordinary
pencil for painting.
Working with it is easy:
-choose the
pencil tool from the
tools window
-choose a type of the
pencil form the menu with options above:
-choose a color from the pallette.

3.
Gradient tool in Photoshop menu
You can use this
tool to make light overflow of two or more colors.
To do this you need to choose the
gradient tool in the options menu and this will be shown:

4.Paint bucket tool in Photoshop menu
It is used for filling some parts choosen form you.
After you have choosed the tool in the menu you can choose FIll.
Foreground-fills the color you have choosed
Pattern- makes Pattern
From the mode menu you can choose the way of the mixing
From the Opacity menu you choos the transperance.
From the Tolerance menu you choose the tolerance of the colors of the near-by pixels in the one you click with the tool.
Anti-aliased clears the conturs
Contigous if this is on after you click with the tool only the pixels that are next to each other and have similar colors will be colored.
And if this option is off the pixels with the same colors will be colored not only wher you have clicked but everywhere in the image.

5.Blur tool in Photoshop menu
Its used to blur the image
From Brush menu you can choose a brush .
From Mode choose the way of mixing.
From Strenght choose the power of the tool.
If you have All Layers on everything you make you will make in layers and if its off you will make everything on the selcted layer.
6.
Smudge tool in Photoshop menu
This
tool imitates blur and wet paint with finger.
The options are like in smudge and blur the only difference is onli in the Finger Painting.
IF this option is on its like you have your finger in paint bucket and you are drawing with it.

7.Clone Stamp tool in Photoshop menu
This tool takes part of the image with the size ot the bruch and clones it in some other place you choose.
First you have to hold down the ALT button on the part you want to clone.
After that you release the ALT button and click the left button of the mouse and you start to clone.
From brush menu choose a color.
From mode u can choose the way of the mixing.
From Opacity you choose the transperance.
From Flow you choos the type of the brush.
You can also choose Airbrush or Alignet.
8.
Sharpen tool in Photoshop menu
It is used for clearing and
sharpening of the image.
The options are the same like the
Blur tool.

9.Sponge tool in Photoshop menu
It is used for slight saturation or desaturation of the colors.
From brush menu choose a color.
From mode u can choose the way of the work (saturate or desaturate)
The first one makes the saturation higher and the second one desaturates the picture
From Flow choose the type of the brush.

10.Eraser tool in Photoshop menu
This tool is like ordinary eraser.
From brush you choose the suitable brush
From mode you choose a way of working
From opacity you choose the transperance
From Flow you choose the wetness of the brush
From Airbrush you choose to act like an aerograph
11.Burn and Dodge tool in Photoshop menu
It is used to darken or lighten the image.
From brush you choose the suitable brush
From Range you choose the range of the tool
From Exposure you can choose a level to exposure.
