Photoshop has over 100 Filters devided in 14 categories.
The filters can do important work.Here i will show you all standart filters and i will explain important things about them.
The filters are lockated in the Filter menu.
Lets start with the filters Distort submenu:

Ripple
It makes wavelike lines on the surface of the image and you can decide what the size will be.

Gives a form that looks like sphere on a selected part of the image.
