Photoshop has over 100 Filters devided in 14 categories.
The filters can do important work.Here i will show you all standart filters and i will explain important things about them.
The filters are lockated in the Filter menu.
Lets start with the filters Pointillize submenu:

Adds black and white pixels in some choosen palces.

Gathers the closest colors and brings them out in one color witch makes bigger pixels.
