This tutorial will show you how to set up an email account for Outlook Express 4.x – 6.x. Start by opening Outlook Express. Usually it is available at Start -> Programs -> Outlook Express. Go to Tools menu and then select Accounts. A new window will open. On the right hand side you will have several buttons. Click on Add then choose Mail. This will start a wizard which will guide you through the process of configuring a new mail account. On the first step you will be asked to type the Display name. The Display name is the name which people will see when they receive a message sent from you. Next you will provide the email address you would like to set in yout Outlook Express client. Next step is probably most important. Here you will have to specify the type of Incoming server, its address and the address of the Outgoing mail server. The information that you will fill out you can get from your mail server provider or your Internet Service Provider. The login information on the next page also will be given to you by the Internet service provider. With the next click your account will be configured.
