This tutorial will show you how to show folder tree under DOS.

To do this go to directory from which level you want to show the folder structure and type:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config>tree
Folder PATH listing
Volume serial number is XXXX-XXXX
C:.
L---systemprofile
    +---Desktop
    +---Favorites
    +---My Documents
    L---Start Menu
        L---Programs
            +---Accessories
            ¦   +---Accessibility
            ¦   L---Entertainment
            L---Startup

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config>
Next all sub-folders will be listed in tree-style structure.

Also you can execute command not from directory from which you want to see the tree. For doing this you need just to specify the directory from which you want to see the folder structure.

C:\>tree c:\windows\system32\spool
Folder PATH listing
Volume serial number is XXXX-XXXX
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SPOOL
+---drivers
¦   +---color
¦   L---w32x86
¦       +---2
¦       L---3
+---PRINTERS
L---prtprocs
    L---w32x86
