Each notebook computer have Battery Pack which give you ability to operate with your notebook anywhere you want, even there are no electrical network of power supply. The Battery Pack have a capacity. This capacity is measured by Ah - Ampere Hour. Higher Ah will give you long operation time on battery. If the the battery pack capacity is 6Ah this mean, that, if your notebook use 2A of battery capacity, you can operate with the notebook for 3 hours. After the battery is discharged and you receive notification for low power, you have to recharge the battery pack of your notebook.
Each recharging will reduce battery nominal capacity and her life. And by this way, after time (1 - 3 years depending on notebook model and exploitation) you have to replace the battery pack.

Like in our other Notebook Tutorials, we will use Mitac 8258D notebook, but the steps in this tutorials are very similar to the other models of notebooks.
First find the battery in your notebook. Quite often battery can be found at backside of the notebook. Battery have to be visual separated from the main notebook body with some groove line or something similar.
