This tutorial will show you how to set up an email account for Microsoft Office Outlook 2003.
Start by opening Outlook Express. Usually it is available at Start -> Programs -> Microsoft Office -> Microsoft Office Outlook 2003.
Once it is started go to Tools menu and then select E-mail Accounts.
A new window will open. The radio button should be set on Add a new e-mail account. Click next.
This will start a wizard which will guide you through the process of configuring a new mail account. On the first step you will be asked to specify the type of server your email account will work with. Generally the correct choice is POP3.
Next step is probably most important. Here you will have to specify the address of your Incoming server and the address of the Outgoing mail server. The information that you will fill out you can get from your mail server provider or your Internet Service Provider.
Just to mention that what you fill out in the field Your name under User Information section is is the name which people will see when they receive a message sent from you from this computer.
The details you will fill under Logon Information also have to be provided by your Internet service provider.
And with the next click your account will be configured.
