How to set proxy settings for Outlook Express [1/3]

In this leson i will show you how to set proxy settings using some of the most popular client software.

Requirements:
1. Make sure clients are connected to the server and they have access to each other.
2. Find the proxy server address. This refers to the IP address of the server that installs Proxy. This address is the local IP address of the server on the LAN.

How to set proxy settings for Outlook Express

Suppose email address is al_slavov@onlinehowto.com.
Mailbox account: al_slavov
Password: ***********
SMTP address: smtp.onlinehowto.com
POP3 address: pop3.onlinehowto.com
Proxy server address: 192.168.0.1

Launch Outlook Express.
Menu "Tools"--> "Accounts"--> "Mail" Tab

Select account and click button" Properties". The general info should be shown as below:
