Aliased Nameservers
An aliased nameserver is a nameserver that has been registered in your behalf even that they belongs to the domain's registrar.
They looks like:

"ns.your-domain-name.com"

instead of:
"ns.your-provider-name-server-domain.com".

Aliasing your nameserver keeps your primary hosting provider transparent and allows you to run your business as a big hosting company. If someone try whois queries on your domain name he will find out that you are reselling services, but with aliased name servers it will be hard that to be found out.
