Defining derived classes - C++ [1/1]
A derived class is defined by specifying its relationship with the base class in addition to its own details. The general from of defining a derived class is as shown. Here, class is a reserved word. The colon indicates that the derived_class_name is inherited from the base_class_name. The visibility-mode can be private, public or protected, which specifies the level of access of the base class data members and member function. The default visibility mode is private.
