We will continue with our 3D Studio MAX Tutorials and now we can use vase model from previous tutorial (Refraction glass material in 3D Studio MAX) and will continue with animation of an melting of the vase.
Now from modify tam select Melt modifier. Next click on Auto Key button like shown on the picture below. Now time line and your Camera viewport have to be colored in red.
Now go to frame 100 and set Amount of Melt to 100. Next click again on Auto Key button to switch off the red color on timeline and viewport.
Next click on Jelly for Solidity (or any other by your choice). Set Axis to melt to be a correct axis if need and click on [+] before Melt modifier name to expand the Gizmo and Center properties. Click on Center and move the center on some direction to distort absolute center melting of the vase. Like this, vase will be melted more natural.
We are ready. Now you can render the scene and watch animation.
