First go to Start -> Run and type: cmd Press Enter or click OK Now in DOS window type on your prompt ipconfig like shown below and look what is the digits right from 'IP Address'. In our example this is 192.168.11.2 for Wireless Network Connection and 192.168.11.3 for Ethernet Adapter Lan Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]
